Our new auction catalog is out!

Our catalog of the 80th International HBA Stamp and Coin Auction has been published.

In addition to the print version, we provide an online catalog and now also a flip page catalog as PDF (45 MB).

You can find them under the tab "Auctions" -> "Current online catalog", "Auction catalog as PDF".

This auction will again take place LIVE on the Internet.

For an optimal auction experience, you will be able to hear the auctioneer through your speakers.
In order to participate, you must register beforehand.

And this is how it works:

Under the "Auctions" tab, click "Go to Live Auction" and create an account.
(Already registered HBA customers can log in there).
This is followed by another login to the LIVE Auction.

Here please fill in all necessary data and enter your desired credit limit, i.e. for how much you would like to receive maximum knockdowns.
Then send the form and wait for our activation, this will be done within 1-2 business days.
After we have activated you, the auction menu will appear under the tab "To the live auction" and bidding will start automatically on 09.11.2022 from 11 am CEST.

You also have the opportunity to attend the auction as a spectator.
To do this, please go to the platform www.philasearch.com and select under "Auctions" -> "Live Auction" next to the "80th HBA Auction" the option "Start as guest without bidding function".

The "East Westphalia Collection" Part 2 at HBA

We are pleased to announce the auction of the second part of the "East Westphalia Collection" as part of our fall auction this year.

After the great sales success of the first part of this phenomenal collection of the Federal Republic, we now continue this success story. Included are again countless sought-after varieties, unissued stamps, imperforate and partially perforated stamps, plate numbers, misprints, missing digits, blocks of four series of the special and postage stamps from different sheet corners, while a very nice offer of the special stamps until 1953, rare whole pieces, including Heuss I in a block of four from the upper right corner of the sheet collected on beautiful FDC.

The Posthorn and Heuss postal stamps area shines again with many rarities such as printer's marks and annotations, rare watermarks, imperforate and partially perforated stamps, etc. This offer will definitely please you again.

All lots are Schlegel-tested, often with the latest certificates.

The Northern States Collection in the Fall Auction

We are very pleased to announce the auction of the unique Northern States collection from the possession of a long-time HBA customer, as part of our fall auction 2022.

This top object, consisting of the popular northern states of Hamburg, Lübeck and Schleswig-Holstein, includes a very good unused and additionally used stamp collection with many wonderful quality pieces and special features such as colors, units, wonderful letter pieces, varieties and plate errors, as well as a very extensive collection of rare letters and postal stationery, which have been collected in many folders at great financial expense.

The collector attached great importance to rare and beautiful cancellations, his selection especially with Schleswig-Holstein inspires very much.

This top object of Old Germany philately is completely checked with innumerable photoattests and many findings.

The "Rudolf Eisele" collection in autumn at HBA

We are very pleased to announce today the auction of the important "Rudolf Eisele" collection, occupation issues in WW II from Albania to Zara, Sudetenland from Asch to Rumburg as well as German field and island mail in 180 albums with greatest rarities.

This very valuable object was collected in many decades by Mr. Eisele knowledgeable and at high financial cost. You will find in this 180-volume collection on self-designed pages a philatelic offer of the absolute top class. Mr. Eisele always attached great importance to the impeccable condition of his stamps. The catalog value of the stamp collection is in the high six-figure range.
The object contains an excellent offer of examined, often with photo certificate, stamp and souvenir sheet issues as well as rarest frankings and many beautiful luxury covers. Mr. Eisele has devoted himself, among other things intensively to the areas of France, all Eastern territories and Sudetenland with magnificent pieces. His Sudetenland collection is in a class of its own.
Each volume contains an outstanding selection of all possible place cancellations, innumerable letters, picture postcards, postcards, among other things East Prussia field post, package addresses, airmail covers, R-letters, insured letters, postal forms, etc.
